Who we are
Square Edge Construction is a small construction business that focuses on providing high quality renovations in Te Whanganui-a-tara, Aotearoa.
Our passion is renovating your old home, and bringing it a new life with updated building products while maintaining the homes original charm and elegance. We love to extend the life of these old villas and bringing a modern perspective to it’s features.
Our goal is to provide a stress free environment for our customers during what can be the most stressful journey you can undertake.
We are highly trained in our field and we work along side high quality companies to help us achieve the best quality product.
We prefer to control the project from start to finish. We also understand that for some they need to have a hands on approach to their renovation. We can supplier labour only contracts to help you to work through your project with you managing the project.
We can refer you to architects and designers that fit your needs, and advise you on the best course of action when problems arise.
We love timber, and love building. Enquire with us today to see if we can help.
Meet the director/lead builder (Jae)
Jae started Square Edge Construction in 2020 with over a decade of experience. During those years his experience spanned from high end renovations, to commercial earthquake strengthening of a hire rise building.
Eventually, it was time to put his own systems and skills in place to provide high quality work standards, communication skills and management processes to bring in a new era of builder.
Focusing mainly on renovations, the company is at home when working on old villas around Wellington. But that’s not all we do….
i love to build bespoke decks and outdoor areas, bathrooms, kitchens, installing and repairing timber joinery as well as designing and building custom cabinetry.
From cafe fit outs at Rex Tremendous in the Wellington Zoo, patiently rebuilding timber joinery, high end bathrooms all the way up to building mega structures with timber at Dirt farm in Otaki, there isn’t much we can’t do.
